Relief Efforts after March 6th Tornado in Three Rivers (as of 3/7)
- Volunteer registration is being managed by SJC United Way . CALL AHEAD TO REGISTER at 269-467-9099. Three Rivers is still in a search and rescue phase. Asking volunteers to stay in a holding pattern and not go out without registering with United Way. There are downed powerlines and we want everyone to be safe.

The Red Cross has opened emergency shelter at Riverside Church in Three Rivers at 207 E. Main St. for those who need food, a place to sleep, and emergency assistance. They are accepting food donations that are prepared in commercial kitchens.
- SJC United Way is at 143 Michigan Ave. in Three Rivers for the next several hours (where the water festival sets up) and is distributing buckets, mops, bleach, trash bags, and other supplies for people needing assistance. Kelly Hostetler is coordinating supplies being dropped off and passed out.
- Also, posted on St. Joseph County United Way’s Facebook page is that it is accepting monetary donations to directly help those affected by the tornado. It’s Facebook page includes this link to donate money to relief efforts.
- Destiny Church is partnering with Riverside Church to meet clothig needs. Donated clothing can be dropped off at the front entrance of Destiny Church. If you or someone you know is in need of clothing, DM Pastor Jerry at 269-718-6828.
