United Community Assistance Program (UCAP)

UCAP Utility help for one time per year per household in St Joseph County MI. Must have the following: Decline letter from DHHS (proving they tried Michigan Emergency Relief Fund first), shut off notice, a picture ID, and the bill MUST be in their name. UCAP does NOT pay if the entire bill will not be paid. UCAP does NOT pay for down payments if the utility has already been turned off or hook up fees. (temp, stopped due to Coronavirus)
